Scrambled: 3 years of La De Da
Posted on
For the last three years La De Da have acted as an incubator for Canberra creativity; a fertile establishment for embryonic ideas to hatch.
To celebrate their birthday, La De Da is gathering all the eggs they’ve hatched over the last three years and putting them in one massive basket.
The night will feature a street food market; a stoop-front beer garden; bespoke hand-crafted furniture; local artists, fashion parades, beat-boxing and live music and more.
Commit No Nuisance have curated a group art show featuring the best of their battle veterans, including: Voir, Mr Manok, JRB, Walrus, Miriam Slater, Just Micha, Houl, Goodie, Kristina Neumann, Miriam Slater, Riley Beaumont, and Roskoe.
Ha Ha bar will be transformed into a street food market purveying worldly flavours and an array of craft brews to keep you hydrated. As the sun sets, Burner Collective, Blahnket, Almost Anything and Early Music Australia transform the space with visuals from Josh Owen, decibels from the Communi-fi sound system and a carefully curated lineup. Industrial designer Josh Sellick has been tasked to create a stoop front beer garden to house the likes of Scissors Paper Pen and hip hop collective The Next Movement.
Proudly presented by Blahnket, Box Cutter, Burner Collective, The Next Movement, Dirty Gal., Almost Anything, Commit No Nuisance, BMA Magazine, Scissors Paper Pen, Good Design Club, UniVibes Cbr, Communi-fi Sound, and Early Music Australia.
