Disclaimer: I just want to start this by saying that Canberra is not boring. As…
A room full of bubbles is far from your average night at the theatre.
And we’re not talking about just any bubbles: how about bubbles so big you can stand inside of them? Or bubble sculptures that could defy belief? Or even bubbles filled with smoke shooting across the stage?
A combination of music, lasers and, of course, gazillions of bubbles, The Gazillion Bubble Show invites children to step into an interactive bubble world, with spectacular lighting effects and jaw-dropping masterpieces of bubble artistry.
The show’s acts of brilliance are why it has become one of the world’s greatest family shows and its creators, the Yang family, have earned over 17 Guinness World Records (most recently, having successfully fitting an 8,800 pound elephant in a bubble – as you do.)
A mainstay on Broadway for the past 10 years, the production has toured the world, even wowing audiences on Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres’ talk shows in the US.
Star of the show, international bubble artist Melody Yang, says this will be the first time it has toured in Australia.
“Our passion is encouraging children to express their creativity and use their imagination through the magic and science of bubbles,” Melody says.
“We are looking forward to interacting with children and families in theatres across Australia.”
