House of Bubbles
Start the weekend with a glass of champagne in the beautiful surrounds of The National Rose Garden this afternoon, when The House of Bubbles pops up from 4 pm until sunset.

Dairy Road Markets
The Dairy Road Markets return this weekend, bringing together wine tastings by Cellar Door, a selection of art and crafts by CraftACT, works from the Molonglo Art and Object Collection, local produce, handmade objects, secondhand clothing, music by DJ Mark Mallett and all-ages play activities.
Tickets are $12 and include a Cellar Door stemless wine glass. Under-18s attend free.

Christmas Dried Flower Arrangement Workshop
Spend the morning creating a dried flower arrangement set in a beautiful vase crafted for you or a loved one at Canberra Centre’s Christmas Dried Flower Arrangement Workshop with K Flower!
Set within the Canberra Centre Christmas Bar, you will be served bubbly and some delicious sweet & savoury snacks, you’ll then be guided to help design and make your very own dried flower arrangement to take home. Tickets are $50 per person and include all materials, plus snacks and bubbles.

The Great Haig Park Water Fight
The Great Haig Park Water Fight is here. Split into two fun-packed sessions from 1-3 pm and 3-5 pm, this all-ages water fight will be settled over different games. Take yourself and your friends, a picnic, a water pistol and don’t forget a towel!
The Soul Defender will be playing music throughout the day and The Italian Place Providore & Bottega will have a pop-up stall offering a gourmet spread of goodies to add to your picnic. Delicious coffee is available through the coffee cart and drinks are available from BentSpoke Brewing Co.

National Photographic Portrait Prize 2021
Audience favourite, the National Photographic Portrait Prize, is back bigger and for longer this year. Selected from a national field of entries, this iteration incorporates photographs from the maelstrom that was late 2019 and 2020.
Accordingly, they’ve called it Living Memory to acknowledge a time like no other. This exhibition always reflects the distinctive vision of Australia’s aspiring and professional portrait photographers and the unique nature of their subjects.

Christmas Village Markets at Haig Park Village Markets
With Christmas just around the corner, Haig Park Village Markets will be getting Braddon into the festive spirit with their very own Christmas Village Markets throughout December, with cheerfully themed market days on Sundays in December.
Imagine a Summer Festive Drinks Garden, live Christmas carols, string quartet, and Christmas themed market stalls combining to delight your senses. Culinary delicacies from the region, fresh produce, artisan products, handmade jewellery, Christmas decorations and more – all of which will be setting the scene for a festive Christmas experience amongst the pines of Haig Park.
