The world’s largest inflatable bouncy castle will land in Canberra this September

In news that will be music to the ears of overgrown children (just me…?), the world’s largest inflatable bouncy castle has locked in dates for M̶a̶r̶c̶h̶ ̶M̶a̶y̶ September 2022 in Canberra and I’m already looking for the perfect pair of socks to wear.

While originally scheduled for a March arrival, then again in May, The Big Bounce Australia has updated its Canberra dates to September. So, what’s in store?
A mammoth monolith of bouncy brilliance, The Big Bounce Australia boasts a whopping 1500 square metres of inflatable fun. How, you ask? By combining four massive inflatable parks in one location, of course.
With access allowed in three-hour sessions, your ticket will include access to ‘The Giant’, billed as “Australia’s Biggest Inflatable Obstacle Course”, a massive inflatable ‘Sports Slam’ sports arena for enacting all your dramatic slam dunk dreams, ‘airSpace’—which will feature slides and ball pits—as well as ‘The World’s Biggest Jumping Castle’.
While you are correct in assuming that there will be tickets for *actual* children—with individual sessions for toddlers (3 and younger), Juniors (7 and younger) and Big Kids (15 and younger)—there will also be plenty of ticketed sessions dedicated to a 16+ audience that will feature live music, food vans and (from the promotional videos at least) confetti, balloons and some good clean fun.
Speaking of clean fun, there will be strict COVID safe measures in place and yes—socks must be worn.
As for the finer details, all we have so far is that The Big Bounce Australia will take place from 6–8 May at a yet-to-be-decided location in Canberra—and tickets are now available at thebigbounceaustralia.com.au.
Race you to the slide?
