Barely able to open before lockdown shut its doors, Loquita promises “experimental and elevated Mexican flavours with a strong emphasis on mezcal and tequila”. With a menu brought to life by native ingredients that focus on the distinctive flavours of Mexico’s vibrant regions, including an extensive range of mezcal tequila, Mexican beers and sangria that are the perfect companion to tacqueria-style food and a name that literally translates to ‘crazy’ (or so Google Translate tells us—our Spanish is no buena), we’re excited to see what’s in store.
