Erewhon who? Where to find some of Canberra’s best smoothies
Posted on
Craving a pimped-up smoothie? 2026 is the year of loaded drinks, and while matcha still seems to hold the title when it comes to speciality sips, there’s a contender that’s coming back in fashion: smoothies.
It’s no secret that Australians love a smoothie (what else is better on a hot summer’s day?), but it seems like the rise of Erewhon, and its celebrity-endorsed drinks, has made them a cultural moment. And Canberra’s café scene is starting to tap into the trend.
So – for those searching for a local alternative to the LA special – here’s where to find an Erewhon-esque smoothie in Canberra (without the road trip).
Easy Oar (Acton)

Overlooking the water on Black Mountain Peninsula, Easy Oar is Canberra’s newest café that’s all about health and wellness.
Serving breakfast, lunch and snacks all made with local produce, it’s their wellness drinks bar that’s well worth crossing town for. As well as pouring fresh-pressed juices, and hand-whisked matcha, they also make Erewhon Smoothies dupes – including a Canberra version of Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin.
The must-try for a true Erewhon-esque experience? The Blue Green Algae with blue sea moss and blue spirulina coconut cream.

Another lakeside smoothie spot that’s best enjoyed in the sunshine, Rose N’ Brew is blending up drinks that would look just at home in Hailey Bieber’s hand as they do on the shores of Lake Tuggeranong.
With three options available, you can choose from the Sunset, the Tropical or the Rose Glow. All are fruity and fresh, and we promise that the vibrant colours and layered textures taste as good as they look.

On the menu you’ll find fruit and veg packed offerings like the U.P. & Go (blueberries, banana, yoghurt, cinnamon and oats, and Majura Valley honey), Almond Butter (almond butter, banana, dates, cacao, and almond milk) and Green (spinach, banana, mango, organic chia, almond milk, and Majura Valley honey).
All have the option to add whey or vegan vanilla protein, for an extra boost.
