Located in the heart of the National Botanic Gardens, Pollen is stunning both inside and out. Transporting you with its leafy green surroundings (which feature a diverse collection of native flora), inside you’ll find Hamptons chic interiors that wouldn’t look out of place in a magazine.

And with a menu packed full of fresh and healthy food, don’t blame us if you never want to leave.

Nestled on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin in Barton, at the small but mighty On Lake Café you can sip on a coffee or tea while looking out over the water. And honestly, what sounds better?

Ideal as a dining destination for anyone who loves brunch with water views, stop in as part of your lake walk or make a special stop to make the most of a sunny day.

Located in the National Rose Gardens, Rosa’s is an all-day garden bar that serves everything from your morning coffee to your afternoon vino.

Overlooking beautiful blooms (with the House of Representatives Garden and Senate Garden on either side), bring a picnic rug and find a spot amongst the roses with your coffee and a pastry.

Kitchen Garden at Rodney’s (Pialligo)

Established in 1996,  Kitchen Garden at Rodney’s ticks all the boxes if you’re looking for delicious food and a beautiful spot to enjoy it.

A slice of heaven for plant lovers and gardeners – with the café part of Rodney’s Nursery & Garden Centre – what makes this café stand out from the crowd is the herb and vegetable gardens (some of which customers can wander through), the little nooks for lovely private lunches, the stunning interiors and a menu packed with local produce.

If that’s not enough, there’s also a dedicated children’s playground, and live music every Sunday. It truly is your on-stop shop. And yes, we count beautiful foliage as a ‘view’.
