I’m sorry—did you say Halloween Burlesque brunch? It’s time to trick and treat yo’self

Posted on
Forget sitting back and watching the kids have all the fun this Halloween, a special burlesque brunch is coming to Canberra to bring some scarily good fun.
Taking place on Sunday 30 October at the Flazéda Arts Hub in Belconnen, this brunch is the perfect opportunity to partake in some Halloween fun—with some flair!
Providing Halloween fiends the opportunity to dust the cobwebs off their costumes and enjoy a dark and delightful brunch (complete with gorgeous ghouls, sexy skeletons, and a whole lotta (s)ass), take along your ghoul friends and get ready for a good time.
Burlesque Brunch producer and Flazéda Hub Founder, Rachel Reid says, “It’s a morning of high tea… or should we say, hi TEASE!… Who doesn’t like a bit of cheeky burlesque partial nudity with their mimosas!?”
The best part? Savory and sweet delights will be supplied by Tikvah’s Bakery with all treats suitable for vegans—so, you know you’ll be catered to in all aspects!
Developed to support Fringe artists at Canberra’s alternate performing arts hub, each ticket purchased will be supporting their artist development programs and scholarship initiatives. And with prizes, games, trivia, bingo, and other fun challenges (including a best-dressed competition) it’s a fa-boo-lous chance to dress up and have some fun.
“It’s often the attendees who are the real stars of the show!” Rachel says. “I am always blown away by how people choose to interpret the theme and dress to impress!”
