Introducing The Sunday Supper Club

When’s the last time you enjoyed a three-course meal cooked by one of Canberra’s leading chefs for less than $50 per person?
That’s the concept of a new monthly event series—Sunday Supper Club—a collaboration between HerCanberra and Winning Appliances.
On the first Sunday of each month, you are invited to an intimate dinner party in Winning Appliances’ Kingston showroom. This beautiful space, transformed from the site of Canberra’s first department store into an airy, polished industrial showroom, will host just 24 guests each month.
You’ll enjoy a menu designed by one of Canberra’s best chefs, watch them whip up creations in the Winning Appliances demonstration kitchen, and hear the story of their food journey in a conversation hosted by HerCanberra CEO Amanda Whitley. Ticket price includes matched wines and entertainment.
The first event kicks off on Sunday 3 June and will feature Chef John Leverink, owner of Pod Food, head chef at The Boat House and one of the brains behind five-star picnic company, Schmicnics.
We’ve asked him to create a menu inspired by home and cooking for friends and family—you’ll leave not only with full stomachs but with loads of ideas and inspirations for entertaining at your place.
