Piggy and Panda shaped custard buns!? Meet Braddon’s newest food truck

Posted on

As if this weekend’s weather forecast wasn’t enough to get you excited (23 degrees and sunny!) we have the perfect pairing.

One of Braddon’s quirkiest mixed-use spaces, Waves Carwash on the corner of Lonsdale and Elouera Streets, has quietly welcomed a new resident—and it’s cuteness overload.

Serving ‘Asian street food’, JOO&NEE‘s Instagram is a colourful patchwork of food and drink, promising everything from adorable custard buns shaped like pigs, pandas and rabbits (aww) to Thai Lemonade (necessary for this weekend), bubble tea, dumplings (both fried and steamed) and bento boxes.

While we’re not sure how long JOO&NEE will be hanging about on Lonsdale Street, they’ll definitely be there this week, so hustle to make sure you get your hands on Braddon’s cutest desserts.
