Recipe: White Hot Chocolate with Cinnamon

A decadent treat to sip on a rainy day.

Creamy white chocolate, topped with whipped cream and shaved chocolate! What could be better?


Serves 4

  • 200g white chocolate
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup pure cream
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • To serve: whipped cream, cinnamon sticks, shaved chocolate


In a heavy-based pot, melt the chocolate into the milk and cream with the cinnamon stick. When combined, add the vanilla extract, discard cinnamon stick.

To serve: serve in mugs, topped with whipped cream, a cinnamon stick and some shaved chocolate.
