They had us at daiquiri tree…

Posted on
A quick PSA: happiness does indeed grow on trees.
Or at least, a colourful array of daiquiris now grow on trees at Highball in the city.
The perfect way to pretend you didn’t scrape ice off your car windshield that morning, Highball’s Daiquiri Tree features 12 daiquiris chosen from their diverse menu of seasonal daiquiris—the perfect tasting flight for this rum-centric cocktail bar.
With a choice of Classic Daiquiri (Bacardi, lime, sugar), Hemingway Daiquiri (maraschino liqueur, grapefruit and lime, oh my), Pineapple Daiquiri (… self-explanatory), Cable Car (spiced rum, lemon and vanilla) and a Daquiritto (Campari and lime, yum), you’re sure to find one (or five) you like.
Giving us a taste of summer until the sun comes back in September, this might just be the perfect excuse to get the gang together, with a minimum of six people required to order le tree.
Just keep in mind that Highball has moved from its former home in the Melbourne building on Alinga Street above Smith’s Alternative to the other side of the Melbourne Building, on the corner of Northbourne and London Circuit.
