With a menu that’s constantly changing with the seasons, there’s always something new to try at Deakin & Me.
While they do provide classic café fare, it’s their more unique options like the pumpkin pie waffles (cherry caramel syrup, chocolate ganache, and toasted coconut crumble with seasonal berries) and the breakfast tostadas (pork carnitas, charred pineapple pico de gallo, spiced corn puree, pickled green tomato, peppers and poached eggs), that make it a must-book brunch spot.

Why get a bacon and egg roll when Asian-inspired sandos await in the heart of Lonsdale Street at On Lonsdale’s Japanese/Korean sando spot, On Sando? Made with fluffy Japanese bread, you can stick with a more classic combination like double bacon, scrambled eggs, crispy hash brown, melty cheese, miso aioli and katsu BBQ sauce or try something a little bit different with spicy fried chicken, Frank’s Redhot sauce mayo and dill pickle.
Add an iced matcha for the full experience.

Did you know that Jarochos is open for brunch on the weekends? Serving up authentic Mexican food, here you really won’t find any bacon and eggs. Instead, chilaquiles (traditional breakfast nachos), empanadas and picadas sit alongside eggs served with chorizo, beans or tomato, onion, coriander and fresh green chilli.
It’s only available from 11 am until 2.30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, so be sure to book a table so you don’t miss out.
