Well, butter our buns—Fun Guys truffle burgers are back this weekend!

It’s the foodie news Canberrans eagerly await every year—the opening date of Fun Guys truffle burgers.

For the uninitiated, Fun Guys (funghi…get it?) began slinging gourmet burgers filled with truffle-y goodness six years ago from a converted shipping container on The Truffle Farm’s idyllic Majura estate, just 15 minutes drive from the city, and haven’t looked back.

The brainchild of Damian Brabender, Executive Chef at Kingston’s Otis Dining Hall, and Jayson Mesman, Owner of The Truffle Farm, this winter foodie staple’s glorious return was announced via The Truffle Farm’s Instagram yesterday and all we can say is—one patty or two?

According to Instagram, Fun Guys will open from this weekend from 9 am – 3.30 pm or until sold out (emphasis on sold out—we recommend getting there sharpish to avoid disappointment) Saturday and Sunday.

As always, you’ll be able to pre-order your food for pick up here, with menu options including The Big Truffle Deluxe Burger, The Southern Truffle Shuffle Burger, the Loads of FUNGUYS Burger (vegetarian!) and the Kid’s Cheese Burger (sans truffle).

There’s also the iconic Fun Guys Loaded Fries. Noms.
