Are you watching kids scroll through life, with their rapid-fire thumbs and a six-second attention…
Animal-lovers, it’s time to get out the whisk—because there are animals that need our help, and by help, we mean cupcakes.
RSPCA Cupcake Day is a chance for keen bakers and animal lovers to get out the apron for a good cause—to raise money for RSPCA ACT’s care of animals in need.
Held on Monday 16 August, RSPCA Cupcake Day will see Canberra bakers bring cupcakes (or other baked goods!) to their schools, workplaces and communities—even over Zoom!—to raise awareness and money for RSPCA ACT’s vital services which help thousands of animals each year.
Want to get involved? It’s simple—register for free at rspcacupcakeday.com.au, then on Monday 16 August bake, sell and donate the funds raised to our furry friends. And no, you don’t even have to bake cupcakes.
“Every year people get really inventive with what they choose to bake and decorate. We’ve seen cupcakes, donuts, biscuits, lamingtons—although we’re still waiting to see a wedding cake!” says RSPCA ACT CEO Michelle Robertson.
“It means a lot to us that people want to get involved and help us fight against animal cruelty.”
Need even more encouragement?
There are prizes to be won when you send through your funds to RSPCA ACT, including a trip to Melbourne.
