A visit to the pub for a classic chicken schnitty and putting your pedal to…
Think an adventurous getaway is off the cards thanks to COVID? Think again.
How about a family glamping adventure in Tidbinbilla where you can sleep under the stars in luxury—just 45 minutes from Canberra?
A Wild Night Out at Tidbinbilla was developed as a way for Canberrans to connect with our amazing natural surrounds, while making memories as a family.
During the spring school holidays, Canberra-based nature tourism business WILDFest offers an action-packed adventure in Tidbinbilla where itineraries are packed with day and night wildlife encounters, accompanied by ACT Parks Wildlife Officers.
At A Wild Night Out you can walk with park rangers, enjoy roasting marshmallows by the fire, experience hi-tech wildlife, go behind the scenes at the Vet Centre or solve the mystery of CSI Tidbinbilla as well as stargaze after dinner.
Are you or your family keen photographers? On Wednesday 7 October there’s a special event with renowned photographer Ari Rex, where guests will learn to take images of the incredible stars over the park.
COVID-safe measures are in place, with physical distancing easy given Tidbinbilla’s size. As most of the activities take place outdoors, participants are able to maintain safe distances, with food service and tents generously spaced.
With professionally laundered bed linen and additional cleaning taking place in the glamping tents between visitors, you can rest assured that your experience will be a comfortable one.
