As the colder months approach, they can bring more than just a rosy glow to…
Much-loved women’s fashion retailer birdsnest is bringing a pop-up store to The Canberra Centre.
Opening this Monday 2 July, the store will be located on Level One and is set to stay until December this year. Being a predominately online business, the birdsnest girls say they are thrilled to be offering a physical in-store experience in Canberra, giving them the chance to connect with their Canberra-based customers in a new way, and an opportunity to introduce themselves to new ones.
Already popular amongst Canberrans, the birdsnest HQ or ‘Nest’ as it’s fondly referred to, is located an hour down the Monaro Highway in Cooma. From humble roots, it has grown to be an online retail powerhouse, boasting some of Australia’s most well-known brands and a number of house-designed lines.
“We have so many Canberra customers who shop with us online, some of which regularly make the trip to our Cooma store. To be able to bring the in-store experience to Canberra over the busy end-of-year period was an unexpected opportunity that we couldn’t refuse” says birdsnest founder, Jane Cay.
Customers will have the opportunity to ‘click-and-collect’, or do an ‘in-store pick up’.
The ‘in-store pick up’ allows customers to do the groundwork, ordering styles online from the comfort of their own home. These styles will then be waiting for them in the Canberra store at their desired time. This means that customers won’t be limited to just the stock that fits in the pop-up store, but rather the entire birdsnest offering that can be found online.
The fashion retailer is known for its personalised styling advice, curated outfits, unmatchable customer service, and commitment to body diversity. The team says that customers who visit the store can expect to find the same level of support in-person.
“We want the pop-up store to be a place where we can help solve your wardrobe dilemmas or just to have fun indulging in some retail therapy!” says Cay.
The store will be open from Monday 2 July until December on Level One of The Canberra Centre in shop CF09, next to David Jones and across from Country Road.
