Canberra Centre’s Ainslie Mall is officially complete, with the opening of luxe café Stanton House (just in time for peak Christmas shopping!)

2019 has been big for Canberra Centre, and the city retail destination is ending the year with a bang, with luxe café Stanton House opening its doors yesterday.

Serving up seasonal and flavourful fare, Stanton House represents the final piece of the Ainslie Mall precinct upgrade. Expect a diverse menu boasting fresh, organic food—everything from Green Bowls to Avocado Crush to Stanton’s Signature Organic Scotch Egg with a gorgeous runny centre. Not to mention great coffee.

The café’s position in the former ‘Eden’ space also gives diners the perfect view of the big name brands in the new Ainslie Mall precinct.

The last retailer to complete the precinct’s line up is Watches of Switzerland, which joins COS, Tommy Hilfiger, Oroton, Polo Ralph Lauren and the new Hugo Boss storefront.

Swiss Ambassador Pedro Zwahlen officially launched Watches of Switzerland on 28 November.

It’s an exciting mix of aesthetics: the minimalism of COS, Hugo Boss’ elegance, Oroton’s sophisticated and seasonal accessories and clothing, Ralph Lauren’s timeless design and Tommy Hilfiger’s bold preppy vibe now complementing Australia’s largest collection of luxury watches. Everything from Cartier to Rolex, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Tudor, and Jaeger-LeCoultre.

COS’ minimalist and structural silhouettes have been popular with Canberra shoppers.

These latest additions join a line-up that now includes David Jones, Myer, H&M, MUJI, Zara, Mecca Maxima and Apple, as well as more than 200 speciality stores.

Experience the complete offering for yourself, with Canberra Centre offering extended trading hours all the way up to Christmas Day. And let’s not forget the Boxing Day sales!
