One of Canberra’s favourite op shops is leaving Braddon….
Mother and daughter duo Taylor and Sharyn Pitsilos will soon be expanding their chic Designer Op Shop store into an emporium in Fyshwick. And they want to invite other vintage sellers, collectors and makers to set up shop spaces within their new location.
The expanded venture will be named “Designer Op Shop Emporium” and will open in June. These vintage experts have been trading from a popular store off Lonsdale Street for the last five years and are ready to move on and expand their business.
There will be ample free parking at the new space in Fyshwick – which has become a bit of a running problem for anyone wanting to shop in Braddon.
The new Designer Op Shop Emporium will be in a prominent location, in a beautiful old warehouse building with timber flooring and high ceilings on Barrier Street. Sharyn and Taylor will be offering affordable shop spaces for like-minded creative businesses to join in on the exciting opportunity. Taylor (pictured above) said they are also keen to see a florist and coffee shop join the team.
“We are really open to anything right now, we are planning on creating an open communal space with shop spaces selling everything from pre-loved fashion, high-quality vintage and retro homewares, plants, jewellery, antiques, art and lots more. People can come to shop, have a cup of coffee, relax with free wifi and just really enjoy the experience.”
Interested potential store-holders can contact Taylor and Sharyn on 6225 8128 or firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
