Boho Luxe Market: Free sound healings, cacao ceremonies and a vegan food market

Those who like their market stalls with a side of aura photos and vegan chocolate need to clear their diaries this weekend because the Boho Luxe Market is back!

Offering an exciting and diverse range of small businesses the chance to connect with Canberra audiences across two days in a relaxed market environment from 18-19 May, the Boho Luxe Market is your chance to open your mind and heart – and indulge in some completely delicious vegan fare.

According to Founder Dani Djokic, the market was first created to fill “the need for an event that not only looks beautiful, but a place where you can shop beautiful products, relax with a sound healing or cacao ceremony and connect to like-minded people who love to support small businesses.”

Taking place in the Budawang Pavilion at Exhibition Park, there will be a huge variety of eco-conscious and artisanal stalls to browse and shop.

You can also expect immersive workshops all weekend, including free sound healings, free aura photos from 10 am until 11 am each day and free psychic stage shows at 11 am, psychic readers, live music, vegan food samples and gin tastings.

Speaking of vegan food, your Boho Luxe Market ticket will also give you entry to The Vegan Market, with the two events running alongside each other and offering a plethora of vegan goodness including food from Lord of the Fries, Bao Melbourne, Australian Cookie Empire, Dessert Quartets/Vegan Tasty, Hare Krishna Food for Life Inc, Rodu Bodu, Mim’s Vegan Treats and Oh My Doner.

“We love the idea of introducing vegan products to non-vegans” says Dani. “It is so good to hear non-vegan visitors experience how good vegan chocolate is, and better than the non-vegan brands. There are so many vegan options that are better and healthier than the mainstream market.”

After you’ve enjoyed a delicious lunch or drink from the Kombi Bar, Dani encourages visitors to spend their afternoon enjoying everything the market has to offer.

“Dabble in a creative cake decorating workshop, restorative sound healing or try an incredible cacao ceremony or move on to the psychic and wellbeing zone, where you can find out what your future holds or simply just browse the stalls from crystals, health products or essential oils.”
