He may only be in his early twenties, but there’s more than meets the eye…
As winter settles in, we’re left with some unwanted reminders of summer including pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage.
Not to mention the baggage left by the COVID shutdown—please, nobody mention distance learning. But this period of minimal social activity and working from home could also be the ideal time to try the laser treatment that’s perfect for those in their 30s and 40s— Fraxel®.
What is it?
Offered in multiple locations across Canberra at the newly-reopened Artisan Aesthetic Clinics, Fraxel® Dual Laser (Fraxel®) is a non-ablative fractionated laser that is used to significantly rejuvenate skin.
Simply put, it is an incredibly effective treatment for wrinkles, acne scars, pigmented lesions, and for improving overall skin tone and texture.
Where can it be used?
Fraxel® is used to treat the face, neck, décolletage, arms, hands, legs and back.
How does it work?
Fraxel® works by penetrating the top layers of your skin a fraction at a time via hundreds of thousands of microscopic columns that stimulate the production of new skin cells and collagen.
It sounds intense, but by leaving most of the surrounding skin intact, your skin’s natural rejuvenation process kicks in, smoothing wrinkles and scars, eliminating pigmentation and creating cleaner, healthier skin.
Tell it to me straight—what does it feel like?
During the treatment, the Fraxel® may cause an uncomfortable but tolerable hot, prickling sensation. A local numbing agent will be applied to ease discomfort.
How much downtime will I need?
Post-treatment, your skin will remain hot for three to four hours (similar to a sunburn) but will dissipate significantly within the first hour.
Redness and swelling will be present immediately after the treatment with most swelling noticeable the morning after, under the eye area. This can last between two to three days, which is why Fraxel® is optimal for times when you have a few days free in your social calendar.
What are the results?
The treatment produces highly effective and long-lasting results that typically appear five days after treatment with optimum results appearing at two to three months.
This incredible before and after from an Artisan client speaks for itself—the client’s pigmentation and damaged cells have been lifted and eliminated from the skin, revealing a smooth and clear complexion.
How many treatments do I need?
Clients often only need one Fraxel® treatment to achieve the desired result.
However, to maintain treatment outcomes and effectiveness, annual treatments can be recommended by your clinician.
How much does it cost?
For a limited time, receive a full face Fraxel® at Artisan Clinics for $899, which saves you $351.
Thinking about getting your neck or décolletage fraxelled too? Receive a second area for just $699. Hurry—this exclusive offer ends 31 August 2020.
