Her Street Style
Posted on
Canberra isn’t just a city filled with dreary grey suits and business wear. We hit the streets to suss out the style of local Canberrans…
Kate, 26, City. Wearing: Parliament. “I like to think of my style as grungy with a girly edge – as you can see I usually incorporate a mix of trends into my look. My favourite store in Canberra would have to be Parliament.”
Maddie, 21, O’Connor. Wearing: Thrift shop. “I think I’m a combination of punk and alternative, I like to wear a lot of tartan – I have a Scottish background so it’s the keltic influence. I love to dress as my own person, I particularly love 1990s-inspired clothing, and the whole era in general – I listen to a lot of 1990s music.”
Cheryl, 46, Amaroo. Wearing: Vintage. “I love fashions from the 1950s era. My favourite store is Rockin’ that Frock at DFO and I often go to the vintage fairs at Albert Hall.”
