Daiso is coming to Canberra and it’s opening very soon

Japanese superstore Daiso is coming to Canberra – and it’s opening in two weeks.
That’s right, we have the goss.
For those unfamiliar with this worldwide phenomenon, Daiso is a go-to variety store in places like Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and now with stores in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne, Australians too.
Known as always having the solution for all those home, beauty, lifestyle and travel odds and ends (need an umbrella while you’re Seoul? Daiso. Need a headband to jazz up an outfit in Tokyo? Daiso) Daiso stocks everything from USB-heated hair rollers to storage solutions, umbrellas, plush toys, washi tape, travel fans, gua sha, smartphone accessories, slippers, stationery, Japanese beverages and heaps (HEAPS) more.
Anyway, back to what you want to know. Daiso will be taking the space formerly occupied by Howard’s Storage World, down the MYER end of the Centre. Opening in Westfield Belconnen at 10 am on Saturday 29 June, all we can say is…see you there?
