Is this Denman Prospect’s most gorgeous display apartment?

When you’re three floors up on a balcony with a golden balustrade, looking out at sweeping views across the Molonglo River, it’s easy to forget you’re in a display suite.
That’s probably because the display apartments at Boulevard, truly one of Denman Prospect’s most striking apartment buildings, aren’t offsite in a demountable but in two of the very apartments you could live in one day – and they’re yours to visit now by appointment.
When we first wrote about Boulevard in 2023, it quickly became one of our most-read real estate articles of the year thanks to its distinctive gold exterior finishes, mid-century design and amenities like a rooftop pavilion, resort-style pool, fully fitted-out community dining room and onsite co-working hub.
Now, the scaffolding is off, with the first stage expected to be completed in just a few months – and you’ll be happy to know it looks even better than the renders, especially because standing in the display apartments you can see what makes Boulevard so special: its uninterrupted view across the river and to the mountains beyond and its location just a stone’s throw from the Denman Prospect local shops.
Unsurprisingly, James Herbert of LJ Hooker Projects says the building’s striking exterior boasts admirers far beyond just prospective buyers.
“There has been an overwhelming response to Boulevard ever since it launched in 2022, and the community is overwhelmingly excited about the development now that it is being finished,” he says. “It truly is an outstanding example of good development and a building that everyone should come to experience for themselves.”
The two display apartments allow you to experience both a one-bedroom and two-bedroom floorplan, with the option to close off the study in the two-bedroom apartment to transform it into a three-bedroom home. With dynamic sliding doors, this study/bedroom area creates flexibility in the space, allowing families to grow and work from home arrangements to expand as necessary.
Currently, there are still one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments available to purchase, but interest is high, and James predicts they’ll soon be snapped up due to the unique charms of the development.
“I think the detail and care that has gone into the design of the buildings from both a form and function point of view really sets Boulevard apart,” he explains.
“The project has a stunning form from street level, but as you get closer and begin to experience the buildings from a closer view, you quickly get a sense of how much attention to detail has been applied to every aspect of the project.”
“It truly is a project that needs to be seen to fully appreciate. The apartments suit all types of residents from single young first home dwellers, up-sizers, all the way to down-sizers looking for a large home to retire in.”
I couldn’t agree more. As the late afternoon sun stretches across the living room I’m honestly quite jealous of whoever gets to call this apartment home.
With Boulevard’s first stage due to be completed by mid-year and the second and final stages estimated to be completed by late 2024, now is the time to visit one of the fully operational display apartments.
