Four days of new-season fashion, friendly styling advice and the chance to find your next favourite outfit – this time, in a brand-new location.

Time to call in your wardrobe wingbirds. birdsnest is bringing its much-loved Canberra pop-up back this October, with a new location, a fresh collection and four days dedicated to finding clothes you’ll love wearing.

Running from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October, the pop-up will take over the newly opened South Jerrabomberra Community Centre in Tralee, welcoming shoppers from Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounds.

If you know birdsnest, you’ll know it’s about more than finding something to wear. The Cooma-based fashion brand has spent more than 20 years helping women feel confident in their clothes, building a loyal online following along the way. Its pop-ups bring that experience into the real world, where you can browse, try things on and get a little help finding your next wardrobe favourite.

This season, the racks will feature spring/summer styles from birdsnest’s nine exclusive brands, all designed at its Cooma headquarters. With sizes ranging from 8 to 22/24, there’s a wide range to explore, whether you’re after an everyday staple, something for a special occasion or a head start on your festive-season wardrobe.

And you don’t have to go it alone. The birdsnest team will be on hand to help you find your style match, making it a lovely opportunity to try something new, discover a brand you haven’t worn before or simply enjoy a good old-fashioned browse.

The move to South Jerrabomberra also gives the pop-up a new neighbourhood to explore. The community centre is surrounded by family-friendly facilities, including the region’s largest free splash pad, an all-abilities playground, a bike track and picnic shelters. So, if you’re making the trip with little ones in tow, there’s plenty to turn a shopping stop into a longer outing.

For birdsnest, the chance to meet customers face-to-face is a big part of what makes these events special.

“We love seeing familiar faces return each season alongside new customers discovering birdsnest for the first time,” says birdsnest team member Tahlia Salvestro.

“We’re excited to bring the pop-up to South Jerrabomberra this year and welcome even more people from Queanbeyan and the surrounding region.”

And if you’re inspired to make a bigger day of it, birdsnest’s flagship store in Cooma is just over an hour away via the Monaro Highway. Consider that your excuse for a road trip.

The pop-up is open 9 am to 4 pm on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 October, and 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October.
