Canberra Centre’s Taste Local Festival is bringing boutique foodie experiences to your doorstep this May….
In Gungahlin Village is a springtime dream, where Anthos Flowers work seven days a week to bring the best of the seasonal surrounds to you.
With decades of experience, Anthos Flowers has deservedly been recognised as the winner of the Hits of 2020 floristry category—the cheekily named ‘Gums ‘n’ Roses’.
With 2020 shedding new meaning on self-care and appreciating small beauties, flowers have been a pick-me-up Canberrans have been thankful for.
Owner Drew Daskalakis and his dedicated team have continued to arrange and deliver technicolour blooms to the broader community, even throughout the challenging COVID-19 shutdown.
“The support of our customers buying flowers for delivery or for themselves allowed us to keep trading,” says Drew, adding that while increased costs of arrangements and freight complications were a challenge for the team, it didn’t dim their spirits.
Recognising the power of nature to rejuvenate and brighten any space, Anthos Flowers frequently reinvent floristry arrangements to keep things fresh and exciting.
Their Instagram and Facebook social streams offer a display of their tantalising selections, which range from a traditional bouquet of roses to an abstract wooden arc arrangement.
Their team is in perpetual motion, hurrying to fill orders. But to be recognised as Canberra’s favourite is still a very special accolade.
“What a great feeling to have been recognised for our hard work and passion,” says Drew.
Offering contactless delivery, same-day arrangements, and freedom for custom arrangements, the team clearly have one thing at the forefront of their minds—their customers.
