To celebrate the release of birdsnest’s brand new moonlight bird collection, the Cooma-based online store is partnering with the Canberra Airport to give you and a friend the chance to win a trip to Singapore.

Modelled by international superstar Anneliese Seubert at the Canberra Airport, moonlight bird offers a divine range of evening wear in timeless silhouettes that will take you from sipping a Singapore Sling at Raffles Hotel to dinner at Odette.
Anneliese is a longtime birdsnest muse. In fact, she just happened to grow up Cooma and now calls Canberra home. After an incredible career walking the runway for labels like Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy and living in Paris and New York, she moved back to Canberra to settle down with her family.
“My father, who is a hairdresser, mentioned Jane Cay was starting a fashion business in Cooma which surprised me! I first worked for birdsnest on a shoot in Sydney, then at the studio in Cooma and most recently in Canberra.”
While the airport may seem like an unusual choice for a high fashion shoot, the birdsnest team believe the striking architecture allows the deep, dreamy tones of each moonlight bird piece to shine. After her jet setting model lifestyle, Anneliese, of course, felt right at home.
“It was quite interesting shooting at the airport, great people watching being there all day although I think we were quite a spectacle too,” she says. “It’s a beautiful building full of amazing sculptures and Thredbo raised artist Zoe Young’s portrait of Torah Bright.”

The lucky winner and their friend are invited to visit birdsnest’s flagship store in Cooma to receive an exclusive styling session, with champagne and nibbles on hand. If the winner can’t make it to Cooma, they can opt for a virtual styling session with a birdsnest stylist.

The total prize is valued at just under $5000, including two return airfares from Canberra to Singapore, four nights’ accommodation in Singapore, free airport parking, two $500 birdsnest vouchers and a personalised styling session for two.
