You better brie-lieve it. You and your mates could be sailing into the sunset (literally) accompanied by spirits and canapes.
That’s right. On Friday 24 February beloved Underground Spirits is teaming up with the MV Southern Cross to offer an evening of spirits and canapes on the water and if there’s ever an excuse to get the gals together, this is it. Catch the last of the summer sun as you depart at 6 pm then get ready for a spectacular sunset on board as you tour the lake—complete with a drink in hand—before returning to the Yacht Club at 8 pm (*cough Valentine’s Day present cough*).
It’s the first of a three-event series called Perfect Pairs that will see the MV Southern Cross teaming up with three local makers to offer Canberrans a series of seriously Instagrammable evenings.
In addition to Underground Spirits, on Friday 31 March it’s hops ahoy for a night with Capital Brewing Co. (and an artisan charcuterie platter, of course).
Our hot tip would be to book into Snapper & Co for dinner so you can cruise straight off the boat and into your dinner reservation, but that’s just us.
