Worship at the Temple of Beauty at Canberra Centre this spring

If you love all things makeup and beauty, you’re going to want to make the pilgrimage to Canberra Centre’s Temple of Beauty this spring.
General Manager of Canberra Centre Gary Stewart says the Temple of Beauty celebrates the power of makeup to cross generations and genders and speak to a wide range of people.
“Makeup can be so much more than products for outer beauty, it can help people unlock a new drive within themselves, find an inner beauty they didn’t know was there, explore their creativity, discover newfound self-confidence, and for some, has even launched international careers.
“Temple of Beauty celebrates inner beauty while inspiring guests to be creative and express themselves through makeup.”
More celebrities than you can poke a blending brush at
Elle Ferguson is just one of the influencers winging their way to Canberra for the Temple of Beauty.
A series of interactive experiences and workshops will encourage guests to throw out traditional beauty standards and embrace their sparkle, and feature a number of brand demonstrations and beauty talks from a wealth of national talent, including fashion influencer, entrepreneur, and model, Elle Ferguson, who recently became Cosmopolitan’s Woman of the Year.
YouTube sensation Shani Grimmond, one of Australia’s most prominent social media personalities with nearly 1.6 million subscribers on the video-sharing platform and more than 1.4 million followers on Instagram, will be heading to Canberra for a meet and greet, while local makeup artist, Danh Doan will give a masterclass in Cut Crease Makeup.
Vogue Australia editors, Remi Rippon and Kaila Matthews, will be sharing their beauty secrets, as will internationally-renowned makeup artist and owner of the eponymous makeup brand, Rae Morris.

The Beauty Temple is set to provide interactive inspo
Excitingly, every Friday from 5pm to 8pm from 27 September until 25 October those who worship at the Temple of Beauty will also lose themselves amongst the playful and inspiring walls of The Beauty Temple, which features motivational quotes crafted from lipstick, feathers, disco balls, iridescent decorations and neon lights.
The Beauty Temple will be brought to life by the Beauty Night Markets, and will provide space for our community to unwind after a hectic week with complimentary pamper sessions from your favourite beauty brands, live music, candy cart, giveaways, and an exclusive pop-up gin bar from The Canberra Distillery and US! Yes, we’ll be there serving up our French Earl Grey Gin and a couple of other delightful tipples.

The month of The Temple of Beauty will commence with a launch event starting at 6pm on Friday 27 September, where guests are invited to be one of the first to experience The Beauty Temple.
