Donut worry, be happy
Sweet tooths rejoice—Clayridge Honey’s Donut Puffs will be served from a food truck overlooking Lake Burley Griffin throughout the school holidays.
Nestled in between two tulip trail plantings at R.G. Menzies Walk near Barrine Drive and the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre, you can enjoy the Clayridge Honey truck’s signature cinnamon donut puffs whilst taking in the blooms and the beauty of Lake Burley Griffin.

Treat yo’self while supporting local businesses at Floriade: Reimagined’s virtual marketplace. With everything from books, food, fashion and homewares, there’s something to please everyone (and even the chance to get a head start on your Christmas shopping).
The best part? It’s all online, so you can poppy-n anytime.

Work on your green thumb
Floriade: Reimagined has plenty of on-demand workshops and children’s entertainment to keep gardens green and minds inspired.
Kids will love Floriade Spouts with The Beanies, a four-part series which explores bees, art, gnomes and planting, while older green thumbs can touch up on their gardening skills with Sustainable flowers for the home with Narelle Phillips.

Let the kids get crafty and colourful
The Floriade: Reimagined program has plenty of crafty ideas to keep kids entertained, including the children’s drawing trail at Lanyon Homestead, where children will take a tour around the gardens to sketch the trees and plants they see using watercolour paper and watercolour pencils.
At Canberra Centre, there will be the chance to create tulips and bees that will feature as part of an exclusive 2.5-metre-high Floriade: Reimagined display, using craft kits available to pick up from the Canberra Centre.
For those looking to get crafty at home, the Floriade: Reimagined website has colouring-in sheets featuring designs by local artists just waiting to be printed, coloured, and displayed proudly.
Another fun activity is the city-wide gnome hunt, where kids can download the Floriade: Reimagined Gnome Hunt Activity Sheet and solve the clues to find their secret locations.
