First Look: Three Mills Bakery Cooyong Street
Posted on
Pastry addicts, coffee connoisseurs and breadheads, rejoice! Three Mills Bakery has come to the city.
Officially throwing open their doors yesterday after a soft opening last week, Three Mills Bakery Cooyong Street gives city workers and Braddonites alike the perfect excuse to face this wintery weather for a luxe coffee break.
Located just near the corner of Mort and Cooyong Streets, the cafe stays true to Three Mills’ minimalist aesthetic, with concrete accents and dark shelving that puts focus squarely on the jewel-like pastries and handmade sourdough shining from the cabinets.

However, there is a unique twist to this inner city space—a “live bake-off area” where you can watch Three Mills’ pastry wizards pump out glazed goodies as well as a cabinet of “grab-and-go” lunch options including sourdough taglio sandwiches.

You’ll also be able to score Three Mills’ beloved bake-at-home range, in case a particularly crummy (sorry) workday calls for a batch of freshly baked pain au chocolat or croissants for breakfast.
