Feel that in the air? Spring is about to bloom in Canberra.
And while that means that you might need to stock up on antihistamines, it also means that the city is coming back to life with a bouquet (sorry) of spring-y activities. From lakeside markets to Canberra’s festival flowers, here are five events that will put a spring (sorry…again) in your step.

The theme? Floral Wonderland. Us? Keen. Canberra’s annual festival of spring is back for another year. It takes place from Saturday 16 September to Sunday 15 October in Commonwealth Park, and we’re already planning our outfits. With plenty of spring-y activities planned throughout the month (from circus performances and cabaret to everyone’s favourite pooch bonanza, Dogs’ Day Out), there’s something to keep the whole family entertained.
