Trying to climb the corporate ladder? You have two weeks to get your boss to sign off on this

You might be overworked, running on empty, and wondering if there will ever be a time when the plates will stop spinning without crashing down.
The good news is – there is! But time’s running out.
The Leadership Strategies Series kicks off in a few weeks, and promises to give public sector professionals the tools they need to work smarter, not harder. This means getting back more hours in your day and becoming a more confident, balanced, and influential leader.
It sounds amazing, right?
“It’s two days designed to transform the lives and careers of public sector executives,” says Kim Vella. “It’s more than coaching, more than a checklist of dos and don’ts, and more than any standard leadership course.
“Obviously people can invest out of their own pocket, but it’s always worth speaking with your boss to see if they can fund it. This course gives the public sector’s executive layer the skills they need to lead at a higher level. And I don’t mean technical skills – most people who attend my workshops are already brilliant, with deep expertise.”
Helping attendees to create a shift in how they lead, Kim’s approach strengthens strategic influence, embodies effective stewardship, builds adaptability and resilience and safeguards wellbeing and prevents burnout. “The result? Better performance, less wasted energy, and leadership that’s both effective and sustainable,” says Kim.
The Leadership Strategies Series is set across two levels: Essentials and Enhanced. The Essentials level is held Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 May at East Hotel in Kingston. Or – if you can’t come along in person – you can attend the online version on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 May.
“It will be maximum value, zero overwhelm. My workshop participants always comment that they feel lighter and more energised after our time together. They also note that they leave with wisdom they can’t wait to apply at work,” says Kim.
“Those who join us for the Essentials level in May will walk away with invaluable insights – and may choose to return for the Enhanced level in June. So much has gone into preparing this course; I can’t wait for them to experience it.
“It really is a small investment in time and money for a big return.”
