Resonance brings together Katrina Barter’s recent paintings on unprimed jute, exploring memory as something felt and lived in the present. Using grid-based abstraction, saturated colour, and raw materiality, the works invite viewers to experience how memories surface with immediacy, intensity, and emotional presence beyond linear time.

Resonance will open alongside M16’s other exhibitions: Silver Stripes by Matilda Hillam and Holding up the Sky by Brenda Goggs.
