Open Tuesday to Saturday from 6 pm until 6 am, the kitchen closes at 4 am with a limited menu served from 1 am, making it a true gem for late-night eats. With laksa, nasi goreng and curry on the menu (along with coffee, tea and shakes), they promise top-notch service at any time of the night.

The newest addition to Canberra’s late night food scene, the concept behind Back Lane Bird is simple: a window serving fried chicken 9 pm until 3 am, Thursday to Saturday.
