Her Street Style

In this new series, we hit the streets to suss out your style…
Emily, Palmerston. Wearing: Wittner boots, op shop dress, vintage scarf, blazer from Gorman House Markets and bag from Oxfam. “I really love second-hand clothing that has a story, so I get a lot of hand-me-downs. I’m very anti fast-fashion and I love the ANU markets. My bag is made of recycled teabags from India and my grandmother gave me this dress, so everything I wear has a bit of history.”
Amelia, Bruce. Wearing: Dotti Jumper, General Pants jeans. “One of my favourite stores in Canberra is Lorna Jane. I would describe my style as casual with a dressy side. I like to be comfortable and warm but with something a bit extra.”
Grace, Acton. Wearing: ASOS dress. “I would describe my style as quite individual, I like really clean looks that aren’t too fussy.”
Netti, Dickson. Wearing: Vintage. “I don’t like dressing in a particular era, I like to take an item and mix it up. My wardrobe is quite 1980s-1970s but I don’t like being pigeon-holed in one era. I always wear a hat when I can’t be bothered brushing my hair.”
Amy, Womboin. Wearing: Prada shoes, Sportsgirl dress and vintage coat. “I love vintage clothing, and I shop anywhere from Saks 5th Avenue to the op shop in country Armidale. This leather coat I am wearing I have had for many years but it’s served me well – it’s so soft.”
