Because let’s be honest: 2024 was…a lot for everyone. From events that shook the world to dealing with our own day-to-day drama, it’s no surprise that many of us ended the year feeling exhausted, burnt out, and a little bit jaded about 2025.
So, it’s time to be kind to ourselves – which is why we found five wholesome events happening in Canberra to help fill your cup. The perfect mix of social, fun, and relaxing, here are some ideas to nourish your mind, body, and soul as we head into January.

There’s nothing like spending a lazy summer afternoon by the lake, but when you add in bottomless prosecco and a grazing station, this sounds like the ideal way to catch up with someone special in your life.
Serving traditional finger sandwiches and a selection of desserts (including scones with fresh cream and house-made preserves) as well as three signature cocktails, you can see people you love while nourishing your body with some delicious food. Win/win.
