Established in 2017 by mother-daughter duo Sophie and Chey Novak, Queanbeyan’s Bodhifit Studio isn’t your average yoga studio.
Instead, Bodhifit Studio approaches health in a holistic manner, offering herbal medicine consultations, homoeopathy and MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) massages in addition to a wide range of yoga and bespoke fitness classes.
“We wanted to create a place where you come to learn skills in class to implement into your daily life,” explains Chey. “Over the last three years we have expanded from our Hatha Yoga classes to Yoga Sculpt—our signature class— and Bodhifit Dance and TrampoLEAN Fit.”
During COVID, Bodhifit quickly adapted its classes to an online format, with unlimited-class memberships available for just $20 per week.
“They are a great way for everybody and anybody to get involved—especially if you haven’t had the chance to try a class at the studio,” says Chey.
“It’s a great way to get a taste of what we are about. The best bit is that it’s from the comfort of your own home—bring on the PJs and yoga sessions!”
If you have any questions about the sessions—online or otherwise—you can chat to Chey at firstname.lastname@example.org. She is always up for a chat and loves to answer any questions you may have.
