Ann Al-Ani is a 17-year-old student with a burning passion to write for, and about, people. Born in Iraq and having lived most of her life in the Middle East and America, Ann has been exposed to many different cultures and part of that is thanks to her parents who work in humanitarian aid. Having just moved to Canberra, Ann has discovered the beautiful gems that make this city so special, including the amazing sense of community you get when you’re out and about. When Ann isn’t chasing her siblings around, she can be found in her room with a stack of books and music blasting from her CD player.
