Whimsical, fun, and full of magic, they’re perfect for stocking up on holiday treats, hunting down the perfect present, or catching up with loved ones.
With Christmas coming early this year, here are 10+ must-visit Canberra Christmas markets taking place this November and December. Plus, who doesn’t love the idea of supporting local businesses during the holiday season?
Make a list and check it twice, because there’s plenty to explore!
Festive Lane Markets
Transforming the heart of the city, The Festive Lane Markets are bringing festive fun that everyone will enjoy.
Running from Friday 6 until Sunday 8 December, you’ll find everything from artisan market stalls selling handmade crafts to festive food and drinks and live music. We also hear that the big man in red will be there to check which locals have been naughty or nice.

RSPCA ACT’s Christmas Markets
The RSPCA ACT is hosting it’s annual Christmas Markets at the Shelter in Weston Creek.
You can expect food and drink trucks, retail vendors, kids activities, photos with Santa & Mrs Claus, and more! They will also be keeping their doors open to the public until 7.30 pm so you can come and meet the residents, take part in the kissing booth (featuring the beautiful long term dogs) and adopt your new best friend. Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar
Charming Christmas markets, a cozy Scandinavian café, and a delightful children’s Lucia procession – this might be the most wholesome way to spend your Sunday.
Held at Albert Hall, the Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar will bring together a great selection of gifts, food, and homewares, perfect for some early Christmas shopping. Plus, there will be live entertainment, a raffle, and plenty of activities that capture the Scandinavian holiday spirit!

Hall Village Christmas Street Party
This Christmas Street Party is sure to jingle your bells – because along with live music and entertainment, there will also be a massive Christmas market!
Running the length of Hall Village, you can spend an afternoon wandering through over 100 vendors selling artisan wares. Make sure to grab a bite from one of the tasty food vans or local cafés and watch the Christmas Star in the churchyard light up at dusk.
And of course, there will be a visit from Santa, who will arrive in style in a vintage classic car!

Geek Markets Xmas Edition

Christmas at Haig Park Village Markets
The ultimate Christmas experience awaits this December, and you can find it in Haig Park.
Taking place across four fun-filled Sundays, the Haig Park Village Markets will be helping you sleigh the gift game with their festive extravaganza. Expect gift shopping, culinary delights (hello Christmas puddings), free photos with Santa, gingerbread making, carols, and more!

The Little Burley Markets are embracing the silly season with their ‘Month of Merry’ – three days filled with festive entertainment, activities, and more. Bringing together over 70 stallholders, you’ll find culinary creations, handcrafted jewellery, artwork, candles, and even puppy couture.
