Abbie Chatfield is coming to Canberra and we’re ready for her to dump her trauma on us

Quick, put it in the group chat: Abbie Chatfield is coming to Canberra.

Are we surprised? No. Because to quote the icon herself, Canberra is pretty fu*king amazing.

The much-loved (and trolled) topical podcaster, TV star, and entrepreneur will be hitting the stage for The Trauma Dump Tour…goes regional tour, bringing her hilarious live show to our very own Canberra Theatre Centre on Friday 18 October.

Announcing the new tour on her Instagram page yesterday, the star said that she loved trauma dumping on everyone so much that she had to take the tour regionally – and I’ve never been so excited to be dumped all over. Yes, I know how that sounds.

Known for her hot takes and unfiltered opinions about taboo topics, the Bachelor Australia alum has made a name for herself across Australian media, hosting the highly successful It’s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield podcast, hit radio show Hot Nights With Abbie Chatfield, FBOY Island and co-hosting Australia’s biggest party Fridayz Live. 

Bringing her unfiltered self to the stage, The Trauma Dump Tour sounds like a bit of a wild ride, but Abbie isn’t known for being by-the-book – and if you like your entertainment raw, honest, and funny, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab your friends for a cracker of a night.

Skipping us in her original 2023 tour (which fans and critics deemed one of the most relatable live shows of the year), we’re also not totally surprised that Abbie is making time to come to our cool little capital.

After all, with Abbie’s boyfriend (Peking Duk’s Adam Hyde) hailing from our fair city, we’re ready to give her the title of honorary Canberran. Especially since she’s been spending time here and even posting about how underrated Canberra is on her TikTok account (because #hotgirlsloveCanberra).
