Celebrate for a cause: Three Canberra fundraising nights to add to your social calendar
Posted on
Forget hibernating this winter; these three fundraising nights are the perfect excuse to brave the cold for a good cause.
Canberra has always been a city that prides itself on uplifting and supporting the local community. From donating to volunteering, we’ve long cultivated a reputation as a city that gives back to those in need – and when things get tough, people step up.
Add these three fundraising nights to your social calendar – your night out could help to champion people with intellectual disabilities, raise awareness for organ donation, or collect much-needed funds for the creation of a dedicated Children’s Oncology Unit.
Independence Illuminated: A Night of Celebration and Impact
Dedicated to connection and community impact, this fundraiser will bring together people passionate about championing independence for people living with intellectual disabilities.
You’ll enjoy curated cocktails (including the Independence Cocktail created by Underground Spirits), canapés, and immersive performances, all while celebrating the amazing work Project Independence has done in the last year.
Make note of the dress code: black tie with a touch of glitter or gold.

Make sure to don your best cocktail attire, go along to hear impactful stories and make your own mark on a night dedicated to saving lives, creating impact and giving back.
