The Queer Eye-tinerary of Yass

Canberra (and the world) was shook when the Fab Five popped up in little ol‘ Yass last month.

So what did Antoni, Karamo, Tan, Bobby and Jonathan get up to just a stone’s throw from Canberra?

We present, the Yass ‘Queer Eye’-tinerary.

Firstly, get ya’ ass there!

Just an hour’s drive from Canberra, Yass is located in the Southern Tablelands of NSW. It’s scenic, peaceful and all around gorgeous. So now that you’re here…

Take a selfie at the Welcome to Yass sign

So you make a Y-A-S-S shapes of your own like the Queer Eye guys!

Head to the Yass Valley Information Centre

Here you can check out the photos of the Queer Eye guys in Yass, see their Yass Queen tiaras, and take a photo with the Yass Queens.

You can also stock up on your own Yass souvenirs, local food and wine and get the 411 on the best places to visit.

This is where you can discover boutique outlets and quaint cafes, offering meals alongside homewares and gifts.

Or, if you’re in a foodie mood a la Antoni, why not visit the local markets? You’ll find jams, oils and wine in stalls beside handbags, pottery and alpaca goods. Maybe even an avocado or two.

Enjoy lunch at the Club House Hotel

This hotel enjoyed a cheeky little Queer Eye makeover in their bistro where you can dine on scrumptious pub fare and of course, stay for a drink or two!
