Perfect for a night out with friends, Akiba’s has a dedicated coeliac-friendly menu that is available every lunch and dinner.

With plenty of options to choose from (hello miso dengaku eggplant and kingfish sashimi) I recommend choosing the “Feed Me Menu”, letting the staff know that gluten is not your friend and enjoy as they bring the best of their unique Asian inspired menu to you.

Any restaurant that has belly dancers, wasabi martini’s and gluten free options on the menu is a must-visit.

Packed full of bold punchy flavours that are inspired by a modern fusion of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, you can tantalise your taste buds with signature oysters with pomegranate mignonette, salmon tartare with mandarin chilli dressing, roasted eggplant with lentil, mushroom, zhoug and more. Oh, and the dirty rice is to die for.

When out on the town, finding good gluten-free pasta can be a challenge. But the magic of Belluci’s in Manuka is you can make their whole pasta menu gluten free—that’s eight pasta options to choose from. Add in parmesan crusted polenta chips with smoked tomato chutney and garlic aiol, as well as salt and pepper squid with rocket, lemon and aioli and you can understand why ‘obsessed’ is an understatement

This premium wine bar and restaurant has a European bistro-style menu which can be described as “high-end but uncomplicated”—and it has gluten free options that you’ll be thinking about for weeks. I recommend the house-made sourdough with pepe saya smoked butter and the beetroot salmon with smoked goat’s cheese, pickles, lemon gel, dill oil, lavash.

Just let the fabulous staff know about your dietary requirements and they will take care of you. *Chefs kiss*.
