Burgers for a good cause? Now that’s a tasty bun!

There’s nothing like a delicious burger, but how about one that raises money for a good cause?
This November, Canberra cult favourite Brodburger is donating $1 from every baby burger to Kids in Care ACT to support at-risk children during the upcoming Christmas period, including purchasing Christmas presents for the children.
Kids in Care ACT works to provide support to any at-risk children and those living in poverty within the ACT or neighbouring regions of NSW.
Their goal is to further enhance the emotional, mental and physical well-being of all children involved in the Child Protection system.

Brodburger owner Joelle Brodbeck says she and her husband Sascha wanted to give back to the community before Christmas.
“As a Canberra business, we felt it’s very important to give back to the community during this time, especially now with the cost of living rising so much,” Joelle says.
“This is a local charity, and especially now coming up to Christmas it will help put smiles on kids’ faces.”
Joelle says they hope to support a local charity each month.
“We have a lot of loyal customers that support us, so this is our way of giving back to the community who have been so good to us.”
