Calling all caffiends, Two Before Ten is giving away free coffee* for two weeks

Here’s some news that’s bound to perk you up – because who doesn’t love a free coffee?

Starting from Wednesday 28 August and running until Sunday 8 September, the team at Two Before Ten is giving away free coffee at all 14 of their venues to celebrate the amazing Australian athletes competing in the Paralympics. But there is a catch – you can only claim a free coffee when an Aussie wins a gold medal AND you have to share their name.
Feeling a bit of deja brew? It follows the recent success of a similar giveaway during the Olympics, which saw hundreds of locals get their morning caffeine fix for free.
“It was a big hit and people loved it!’ says Two Before Ten Co-Owner Matt To’omua.
“Heaps of people began tagging us on socials and it was a great vibe. We thought it was a great way to support the athletes in Paris, all the way from home.”
When it comes to rules around the spelling of your name, Matt says they’re flexible.
‘‘When Noemie Fox won gold in the women’s Slalom Kayak Cross, a customer told us it’s the French way to spell Naomi, so all the Naomi’s were able to come in and grab a free coffee.’
‘‘I think it’s a cool initiative to get more people to watch the Paralympics. I’ll admit I’ve never tuned in regularly to the Paralympics, so I think it’s a cool way to get more people like me watching, and show our support.’’
“The athletes and their stories are so inspiring. The obstacles and challenges they’ve had to overcome to become a Paralympian is so impressive. We want to support our Canberran Paralympians in action, and create awareness as the Two Before Ten Group.”
Not a coffee drinker? Don’t worry. Those twinning with the Paralympic champions will also be entitled to a free beer or wine at sister venues, The Denman Kitchen and 10 Yards in Aranda.
