Grillin’ Boujee Burger Bar

Specialising in mouth-watering, overflowing, artisan burgers (that will leave you feeling very full and happy), dig into classic smashed beef cheeseburgers, fried chicken burgers, and even a loaded vegan option.

And you can never go wrong with a side of waffle fries…just saying.

Reload Bar & Games

Reload Bar and Games’ precinct packs more fun into one space, hosting not only Reload, but Token Arcade & Kitchen and 1Up Pool & Karaoke.

From hot dogs to nachos and plenty of plant-based options, the burgers here  go beyond the ordinary. We love the Sea Captain – Aromatic Thai Fish Cake, kimchi, pico de gallo, slaw and sweet chilli. Yum.

Taco Boi

With an epic food menu packed full of all the best bits of easy-going eating out, here you can order Birria Con Carne tacos filled with ground chilli beef, Korean Fried “Chicken” Tacos, Mozzarella Fingers, loaded nachos, and more.

Burger lovers can’t go past the Pulled Pork Burger with BBQ sauce, pulled pork shoulder, mozzarella sticks and pickled coleslaw. Make sure to dip it into one of their special sauces for a little something extra.

Grease Monkey and Greasy’s Pizza

A burger, Detroit-style pizza or a shake at Greasy’s is always a good idea – it’s a Canberra institution for a reason.

Burger fan? There’s an incredible selection to choose from, but we can’t go past the Full Service with its beef patty, streaky bacon, egg, cheese, pineapple, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, onion, GM relish and signature Greasy’s sauce.

Pizza afficionados will love Greasy’s twist on a classic Margherita with a staunch red sauce, oodles of ricotta that crisps along the sides of this deep dish wonder and a pop of truffle courtesy of the mushrooms. It’s also massive and even one slice will do you in. Heaven.

Jarochos Real Mexican

Tasty and legit – that’s the best description of Jarochos. A family-run small business that’s dedicated to creating authentic Mexican food, on Braddon’s Lonsdale Street.

All gluten-free, order one of their six-inch tacos (that range from marinated pork, spices, pineapple, onion, and coriander to Mexican mushrooms and corn landed on cheese, with onion and coriander) to spice up your life.

Beef & Barley

Despite what the name implies, this Kingston Foreshore fave isn’t just all about burgers and beer. There’s also a tasty range of breakfast dishes, sharing plates (pork ribs, anyone?), salads and desserts.

Beef & Barley is also known for its Brunch Burger High Tea which boasts everything from waffles to sausage and egg sliders. Sounds like a good way to start the day.

Mochacos

Known for their dry spiced and flame-grilled Mexican chicken and flavoursome meals (which include burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and chimichangas), Mochachos in Kingston offers a lot more than corn chips and guac.

Personally, we love the Nacho Crunch Gourmet Burger – a juicy Mochachos fillet coated with nachos and fried to perfection, topped with feta cheese, guacamole, sour cream, salsa and sliced Jalapéno. Olé!
