Everyone stay calm—the Night Noodle Markets are back for 2022

Posted on

It’s one of the best foodie events of the year, filled with hawker-style stalls, Insta-worthy dishes and live entertainment—and now the Night Noodle Markets are finally returning.

Stay calm, it’s not a drill. After being cancelled in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Night Noodle Markets are officially back and bringing 10 nights of deliciousness to the national capital.

Taking place from Friday 25 February to Sunday 6 March, the event is setting up shop at a new location, transforming Parkes Place West Lawns into a vibrant Asian street food festival, where hawker-style stalls will serve up their most drool-worthy dishes and bites.

Among the sizzling, sweet and spicy meals from an exciting mix of popular local, national and interstate eateries, you can feast on some legendary meals from Korbq (home of the Korean fried chicken in a waffle cone with melted cheese), Donburi Station (the creators of the Tokyo Taco), Flying Noodles (the internet-famous dish that looks as good as it tastes), along with crowd-favourites Gelato Messina, Wonderbao, Hoy Pinoy, Twissto and more.

With more stalls expected to be announced in the coming weeks, get those stretchy pants ready and plan your attack because there will be plenty to try.

The best part? This year you can spend less time queuing and more time eating. Thanks to mobile ordering platform Mr Yum, all you need to do is scan a QR code to view, order and pay for your drool-worthy dishes using your phone—making going back for seconds so much easier.

For those who love a bevvie with their bao, there will also be pop-ups from a Dan Murphy’s Zero% Bar, an Aperol Spritz Kombi Bar, a Gage Roads Beer Garden as well as a range of drinks from Heaps Normal, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Rekorderlig Cider.

Add in a pets-welcome policy, an Accor Hotels stall which will be selling fairy floss, popcorn and coffee with proceeds going to charity, plus live entertainment and dragon dancers, it’s guaranteed to be an event full of feasting and fun.

As always, entry remains free but you will need to register for a ticket online at nightnoodlemarkets.com.au.

Okay, now you can panic.
