Sausage rolls are the ideal winter comfort food.

They have always been there for us when we needed them most, whether it was during the long days at kids weekend sports tournaments, at the highway petrol station or the Friday night footy.

Now is the time to give these savoury pastries the appreciation that they deserve. Here’s a list of our faves, organised perfectly to help you fix your cravings no matter what side of town you’re on.

Dobinsons

For generations, Dobinsons have been creating some of the best pastries and treats in Canberra and have perfected the art of sausage roll making. Located in Westfield Belconnen, Westfield Woden, South.Point Tuggeranong and Gungahlin, it’s easy to pop in and grab one to go.

NORTH

The Oven Door (Mitchell)

Serving delicious hot sausage rolls from the heart of Mitchell, The Oven Door is a northside favourite. Invest in their Pie Deal where you can choose a pie or sausage roll with a side of chips and can of drink to make a dreary day look a whole lot better.
