Explore The Forage @ Enlighten Festival.

There’s a wide range of experiences to immerse yourself into at this year’s Enlighten Festival (4–20 March), including a new food precinct—The Forage@Enlighten Festival.

From 11–14 March 2022, local Canberra businesses will pop up at The Forage@Enlighten Festival, bringing you dishes that will delight.

Situated in a spectacular lakeside location in the National Triangle, more than 25 local businesses will come together to serve Canberrans with a selection of regional produce.

Here’s just a taste for what The Forage@Enlighten Festival has in store.

RAMEN DADDY

French and Japanese flavours inspired the creation of Ramen Daddy, the brainchild of founders Eddy and John.

These two chefs came together to create a fusion of French and Japanese cuisine to establish their signature broths and noodles, creating a ramen flavour unlike anything you’ve tasted before—just the thing for cooler autumn evenings.

There’s sure to be demand for their Spicy Pork Dan Dan, Beetroot Cool Soba, and Creme Brûlée.

LET’S DO YUM CHA

Let’s Do Yum Cha is back in Canberra ready to take The Forage @Enlighten Festival by storm with their range of dumplings, spring rolls, and buns.

With a wide range of options, vegetarians and vegans take note, you’ll want to stop here.

WANDERING WOODFIRE OVEN

Grabbing a Wandering Woodfire Oven pizza to share with friends and family is a sure-fire way of keeping everyone happy.

Owners Wes and Mary are professional chefs and pride themselves in using only the freshest local ingredients to produce exquisite pizzas so you’ll be supporting a local business and local produce – simply by having dinner.

FRICKEN FRIED CHICKEN

A local favourite, Fricken Fried Chicken will satisfy your hunger after making your way around the Enlighten Festival events.

Taste this local family’s secret fried chicken recipe that is taking over Canberra one burger at a time.

POP UP POFFERTJES

Indulge your sweet tooth with Pop Up Poffertjes – who doesn’t love some fluffy Dutch pancakes with a range of toppings.

These small round pancakes are an easy one to share with your friends and family.

BENTSPOKE BEER

Wash it all down with a fan-favourite at Enlighten Festival – a delicious local Canberran brew of BentSpoke Beer.

You can also catch them at the BentSpoke Beer Garden @Enlighten Festival from 4 – 14 March.
